It is a good idea to vacuum your sofas and chairs on a regular basis. Never brush as this will rip the fibers and wear thin the fabric. Be sure to also care for the back and seat cushions, by regular turning. This will prolong the cushions as the wear will be evenly distributed on either side.
Remember to also vacuum your curtains regularly, thus removing any dust, which builds up over time, creating a yellowing effect. Also consider raising your curtaining about 1 to 2 cm off the floor to prevent marks from appearing when cleaning your floor. If this isn’t an option, consider hiking them up during cleaning, Any creases created, will be smoothed out by the sun.
These cleaning methods can be applied to most fabrics for common every day stains. Please be sure to consult your care instructions of the fabrics before applying these methods, as we cannot unfortunately take responsibility for anything going wrong with the removal of any stains, including any permanent damage to the fabrics.
Well I hope you found these tips useful. Let us know how you deal with common stains. We love hearing form you. Until next time.
